CHOICE SUFFERING

Choice Suffering is about what happens when you stop waiting for life to become easy.

I make music out of the things I have trouble saying anywhere else - ambition, isolation, addiction, doubt, obsession, love, failure, and the constant fight to keep moving when part of you wants to disappear.

The name Choice Suffering comes from something I’ve had to learn for myself: suffering is unavoidable, but there is still a choice in what you do with it. You can let pain decide who you become, or you can give it a purpose.

For me, that purpose became music.

I write, produce, record, and build this world because creating gives somewhere for all of it to go. The ugly parts don’t have to be hidden here. Neither do the hopeful ones.

I don’t want to make music that pretends I’ve figured everything out. I haven’t. I want to document the process of becoming something - the nights nobody sees, the mistakes, the relapses, the breakthroughs, and the decision to get up and do it again.

That’s Choice Suffering.
